Adopting a tree is a great way to support local conservation, not just of the tree itself, but of the entire landscape it calls home! Proceeds support Wild Green Future and the partnering conservation organization protecting your tree.
A physical arboretum tag including the name and custom message of your choice will be attached to the tree you adopt. Additionally, a picture of your tree, its coordinates, and fun facts regarding its species and the nature preserve it resides on will be included in a digital appreciation packet to be sent via email after the arboretum tag is placed. Many trees are selected based on accessibility. Trail directions to your tree will be included as relevant.
Arboretum tags are guaranteed for ten years except in exceptional cases such as the death of their tree.

Founded in 1998, Bay County Conservancy is a land trust dedicated to the preservation of environmentally sensitive lands in Northwest Florida. Land protection is vital to the future of natural resources in the region, which faces rapid suburban sprawl. Formed to conserve 30 acres of wetlands in the middle of Panama City, Bay County Conservancy now owns 450 acres in 6 counties of the Florida panhandle, including vital habitat for the federally threatened Panama City crayfish.
