What is the Wild Green Charity Battle?
The Wild Green Charity Battle is an annual conservation fundraiser organized by Wild Green Future and hosted in the Wild Green Memes for Ecological Fiends Facebook group. Group members divide into nature themed gangs based on their favorite ecological interests and compete to see which gang can raise the most money for conservation and win the Charity Battle.
When (and where) is the Wild Green Charity Battle?
The Voting Round to decide the five starting gangs will happen in the Wild Green Memes for Ecological Fiends Facebook group and will take place from Thursday, February 26th at Noon EST through Friday, February 27th at 11:59 PM EST.
The Donation Round begins on Sunday, March 1st at Noon EST and continues through Friday, March 13th at 11:59 PM EST.
The Victory Lap begins on Saturday, March 14th at 12:00 AM EST and continues through Wednesday, March 18th at 11:59 PM EST.
What organizations do the donations support? Does my gang choice determine where the funding will go?

Regardless of which gangs you choose, the donations will go towards the same causes. Gangs are not themed or based on the conservation projects (i.e. a donation to Bird Gang doesn’t go to a bird conservation group), but are instead a fun way for passionate nature fans to compete.
Any funds donated beyond the Charity Battle goals will support further Wild Green Future grants, projects, and initiatives.
How do I join a gang?
You can join a gang simply by deciding you like it, and posting and commenting about it in the group!

How do I donate to receive stickers and help my gang win?
To help your gang win, you can make a donation in that gang’s name (the way to do this will be obvious when donations open on the 3/1).
Donations with a sticker begin at $10 USD, and donations without a sticker begin at $5 USD.
If you aren’t in a place to donate, you can help by creating and posting gang memes to get potential donors excited about your gang.
When do stickers ship?
Stickers will ship by October 2026.
Can I support several gangs?
You can donate as many times as you like to support several gangs and receive several stickers.
What are donation challenges?
Group members unaffiliated with Wild Green Future will sometimes post donation challenges with small, non-physical rewards. For instance, the challenger may offer to photoshop someone's pet into a scene from a different paleontological epoch in return for a receipt verifying a donation to their favored gang. These rewards are delivered based on the honor system and Wild Green Future cannot guarantee their fulfillment.
Can I still make my own gang after the voting round ends?
Once a day, a portal will open on the donation page to create an additional gang. Only one gang will be available at a time, and the minimum donation required doubles each time a gang is created, starting at $5. If you choose to create a gang, make sure it fits all the guidelines. We will email you after your donation to find out what your gang is and have your design online within 24 hours of your reply.
Is it even possible to beat Herp Gang?
Only time will tell.
